I had the idea of Rage Art Studio as I was walking along the beach one day thinking how I could do something powerful with all of the anger I was feeling about the political situation in the US. I have struggled for years going from one extreme to the other - feeling rage one day to feeling apathetic the next. Many of us use scrolling on social media as our way to “engage” (myself included!) and I had a longing to do something more, something creative and something that would allow me to engage with others in an accessible way. 

All of the art used by Rage Art Studio is created by artist activists who are using their platforms to create illustrations and graphics centering on key issues and themes that I hope we can discuss collectively through the vessel of their work. The artwork is licensed and a percentage of every purchase not only goes to one of our non-profit partners, but also to each of the artists who have created these wonderful pieces.

My deepest hope for Rage Art Studio is that we can make a small impact in bringing people together to discuss the issues, to organize and to donate funds to frontline organizations that are fighting to maintain access to essential healthcare, specifically abortion, and elect those in positions of power who are looking to create a safer and more equitable country for all.
